Minor in Economics

Two required courses (ECO 200 and ECO 201) provide a general foundation in economic theory and application. Either can be used to fulfill a university General Education requirement in the Self and Society block of Foundation of Knowledge courses. A broad choice of elective courses allows you to focus on your own specific interests in the field of economics.

Courses
• ECO 200 Principles of Macroeconomics
     o Prerequisite: college-level mathematics course (MAT or STA)
• ECO 201 Principles of Microeconomics
     o Prerequisite: college-level mathematics course (MAT or STA)
• Six (6) courses chosen from any 300 or 400-level ECO course
     o Prerequisites: all require ECO 200 and ECO 201; others may apply–consult catalog
